Description
Hi,
My remote imap account now only has empty folders since the last sync:
After a 'once' synchronize I first got all messages in INBOX doubled. Deleting these doubles by hand I thought of starting out fresh: I removed the local folder containing the mails. This made offlineimap think it should remove all the mails on the remote imap server.
Luckily I have the local maildir folder intact, but I don't manage to get it to 'synchronize back' to the remote imap server.
Does anyone know a trick?
I tried this:
I erased one of the empty folders on the imap server, so offlineimap would create it for me (based on the local folder that is still there). No luck! (does this work only in one direction?)
There has been some communication about this. I suppose one could reverse the master-slave roles of the imap and local dir once, keeping everything else the same.
thanks!
fred
